Ms. Janice Mayhew, received her Early Childhood Diploma (with Montessori option) in 1974 and has been working in Montessori schools since that time. She has gone on to complete both a BA (Hons.) and an M.Ed. degree as well as an Advanced ( 6- 12) Montessori diploma. Ms. Mayhew has given workshops and directed teacher education courses at the early childhood and Elementary levels since 1981. Over the course of many years, she has been affiliated with the St. Nicholas, NCME and now AMS organizations.

She is the Teacher Education director and a lecturer for Early Childhood and Elementary courses offered at LMS Montessori Teacher Ed program in Windsor, Ontario, Canada.
